Charter

The best waters for chartering

Croatia, Greece, the Caribbean or Masuria — a review of sailing areas by skill level, weather and the character of the trip.

The sailing catamaran Madras

Croatia is the classic choice for beginners and intermediate crews — plenty of marinas, short hops between islands and solid infrastructure. Ideal for a first Mediterranean charter.

Greece (the Cyclades, the Ionian) tempts with empty bays and atmosphere, but the meltemi can be hard work — choose the Ionian Islands if you want it calmer.

The Caribbean (BVI) is catamaran heaven: warm water, short passages and the trade winds. The season depends on the hurricane period.

Masuria and the Baltic are the closest starting point for Polish sailors — great for learning and for a weekend without a long journey.
